June and July wrap up

Sorry I missed June's wrap up!  This summer has been pretty busy for me.  My son goes back to school this month (August) so things should be back on track for me soon.  Here are the books I have read for the months of June and July:

June/July wrap up:

I finished the entire Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout:

with an in-depth review!

A court of thorns and roses (acotar)
by Sarah. J. Maas

The first manga I really loved was Ranma 1/2 and I decided I needed to seek out some of the copies for my bookshelf.  I went on ebay and found 1-13 for a really great price!  So I bought them and here is a picture (sorry the quality is bad, my camera is still broken and I have not been able to afford a replacement yet):

So of course I decided to start rereading them:

Ranma 1/2
Volume one
By Rumiko Takahashi

Ranma 1/2
Volume two
By Rumiko Takahashi

Ranma 1/2
Volume three
By Rumiko Takahashi

--------------------
Queen of the trailer park
A Rosie Maldonne mystery
by Alice Quinn

My rating 3/5

-----------------------

Peaceful parent, Happy siblings
How to stop the fighting and raise friends for life
by Dr. Laura Markham

My review 5/5

Next I read the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer the book are as follows:

Cinder book one

Scarlet book two

Cress book three

Fairest (prequel)

The next book in the series is going to be called Winter, and will be released in November of 2015.  I cannot wait for it to come out.  I have rated all of these books 5/5  With Cress being my favorite book out of the four.

Amy & Roger's epic detour
by Morgan Matson

My review 4/5

Since you've been gone
by Morgan Matson

my review 5/5
I liked this one more than Amy & Roger's epic detour
------------------

Eleanor & Park
by Rainbow Rowell

My review 3/5

This book gets a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews so I really thought I'd love it, but I guess it was just not my cup of tea.  I did not enjoy it that much.  So if you are interested in this book don't go completely based on my review because apparently other people enjoyed it.
-------------------

That's all folks!  Those are the books that I have read in June and July and now I am currently reading another book by Rainbow Rowell:

Fangirl
by Rainbow Rowell

I am over half way finished with it and so far I am enjoying this a lot more than Eleanor and Park.  So I am hoping I feel the same when the book is finished.  I normally don't list what I am going to be reading for the upcoming month because I am one of those types of people who likes to look at my book shelf and pick a book based on my mood.  So I can't tell you what I am going to want to read next.  I know I do plan on reading a few mangas in between books, so expect more Ranma posts.  I hope to do a review or two as well.  Like I said my son will be starting school up again this month so I plan on being back on top of my blog and making more posts.  Well I hope you enjoyed.  Leave a comment with what you have been reading the past two months, or are currently reading now.  Or let me know how you feel about any of the books I've read so far!
